Healthy Lifestyle 2: Your Root and Thoughts

''The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit'' - Prov. 12:5

We've learnt about instruction and knowledge in the last series but today on LivingEpistle we'll be sharing on how our root and thoughts can influence of actions. Yes! Do you remember that part of the scripture that says ''as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he''. So we're the product of our thought. We act what has manifested first in our mind in the real world.

If one understands that his actions and inaction are that outcome of his thought then he will be able to guide himself towards thinking right. It's not easy because even when we know that it still difficult to maintain rightful thinking. But do you know you've power over what to think and what to think. Yes! You do have the muscle to decide what takes your time and energy. You decide what run in your mind or you influence what you think. It revolves around choice. Then what do you choose to think?

Your energy is always channel to your thought anytime, you want and where to but the righteous thinks right. The question should be how do I think right? How do I remain right minded? How does my righteous thought guide my life, relationship and business?

First, what do you feed your mind with? What instruction do you heed to? For you to think right and act right, you must mind what flies into your ear and what you behold. What you listen to and read has a way of ruling your mind.

Secondly, mind your relationship with God and man. How much time do you spend with Him and him/her? How much influence have they plugged into you? Listen… Intimate relationship with Him and he/she determines our thought system. Because He will guide us towards all righteous while he/she will either make or mar you. Be careful!

I'll allow you to digest the two while we learn about ROOT. A strong root is the one planted inside a wealthy soil which has access to natural nutrient and water while weak root lack all that the strong root has in common. Strong root bring forth fruit in it season while weak root struggles to bear fruit even if do they are not healthy ones.

If I may ask how often do you consult/access the scripture, motivational/inspirational books and listen to words of wisdom from gifted and anointed men? As the root is inside the soil, so is our heart inside the body, no EYE sees it. What goes in will determine what comes out it. What do you feed your heart? What penetrates the hearts or root determines grows out.

Be cautious of what you take into you because you'll surely reap same. We've ROOT - strong or weak - what you call it, it becomes. I mean your ROOT and THOUGHT, what do you allow to guide them. Is it pornography or evil thoughts? Remember as a man thinketh so is he and a righteous man thinks right.

Thank you.
