youths. Nigerians are intelligent, confident, enterprising and
industrious people. If our youths are sufficiently sensitized and
mobilized towards any cause, they can excel. With all these resources,
our country should be growing and developing steadily.’’
One time gubernatorial candidate in Enugu state and President,
Christian Love Bible College, Enugu, Reverend Dr. Emmanuel Okey Oti,
made the assertion during his speech presentation at the international
youth conference of the New Era Youth Awareness and Leadership
Foundation.
Tagged ”The Role of Youth Empowerment in National Development”, the
conference had youth delegates filling up the Princess Alexandra
Auditorium of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka with eagerness to be
mentally and physically empowered for national development.
